How can I convert a foundation-pieced block for traditional quiltmaking techniques?

I love to hand piece yet I've noticed that many of the kits, including the new Summer Lily [quilt], seem to show how to only make the quilt using strip piecing methods. Can you tell me a way to easily covert that to hand piecing. Thanks!

As you probably know, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool hand-sewer. However, there's no question that many quilters absolutely love the speed of strip piecing and the accuracy in foundation piecing. So I design many quilts that take advantage of those techniques.
Fortunately, it's not difficult to convert one of these patterns to traditional quiltmaking approaches. In general, you need to:
* trace each patch
* add 1/4-inch seam allowances to all sides
* mark the appropriate information on the templates
