Jinny designed a pineapple quilt in seasonal reds and greens more than ten years ago for her (now out-of-print) book, Christmas with Jinny Beyer.The quilt has always been popular so she updated the quilt to feature newer fabrics, subtle shading and to take advantage of the precision of foundation (paper) piecing.
This quilt in classic red, green and gold is available in two sizes: 71" square and 85" square.
Each kit contains the pattern with a full size foundation guide and all the fabrics your will need for the blocks, borders and binding.
Backing:Using #8539-04, we recommend 4 4.5 yards for the small quilt and either
6.25 or 7.5 yards for the large (the smaller amount has a narrow center panel that is pieced in the middle versus a narrow center panel that is NOT pieced for the larger amount)
International Customers: These quilt kits include a lot of fabric so they ship in a medium flat-rate box for $40 ($27 to Canada).
Pattern Note: The cutting dimensions for the middle border (Fabric 1) was omitted from the pattern. From the long piece, cut four strips measuring 2 3/4" x the length of fabric.
